Nature is the study of how life acts and interacts within the circle of existence. When we take the time to examine the beauty of the world around us, we are able to see parallels within our own lives. One who is attuned with nature is attuned with the practice of living. All of nature moves in a spiral as do our personal lives. It is important to spend time in nature because in this way we can become attuned to its wisdom.

Siem Reap I

Will be posting some of my old photos. This is a trip to Siem Reap in april 06. Visited 3 temples: Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Phrom.
The Khmer civilization centred on Angkor was one of the most remarkable to flourish in Southeast Asia. A suceesion of Hindu and Buddhist kings created magnificent temples in stone between the 8th and 13th centuries.
Angkor Wat

The world's largest religious monument. A completely realised microcosm of the Hindu Universe, culminating in the five peaks of Mount Meru. Angkor Wat was the grandest of all the Khmer temples and also a city on its own. The outer limits of Angkor Wat was set by its broad moat. It represent the mythical oceans surrounding the earth, and the towers represent the mountain's peaks.
